St. Rita is a "Stewardship Church"! We are "People Helping People!" This means we are actively involved and committed to the principles of being Steward's of all of God's Gifts. We believe that God is the source of all gifts and that we have been abundantly blessed...even in the most difficult of circumstances! That our gifts, whether a talent we have, the time we share or the money we earn are all called to be given back to God with generous response.
The Stewardship Committee is a group of parishioners who embrace these values and are committed to helping every man, woman and child in the St. Rita Community grow in this spirituality. Their work is to influence every Council, Commission, Committee and Ministry in parish life in the spirituality of Stewardship.
The Stewardship Committee believes that EVERYONE has something to give...you may not be called to be an Extra-Ordinary Minister of the Eucharist but you may be able to sew, do computer work or gardening...God can use you! We can use you! Will you give your talent, your time, and your treasure trusting that God will truly bless you?
Below, you may click on the icons...the first is an Introduction to Stewardship and our parish Stewardship Prayer. You will then find a Self-Assessment Questionnaire and a scoring re-cap form to determine the results of your assessment and where your gifts might fall. Having determined your strengths (Stewardship Activation Form). The final icon is our Parish Ministry catalogue that explains the details for each of our parish ministries and a list of personal contacts for those who lead those ministries.
Remember that 2000 years ago St. Paul wrote, "Since we have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us exercise them."
