St. Vincent de Paul Society

A group of parishioners who assist the suffering and needy in our community.  Assistance is offered through personal contact of those in need.  The group also works with Catholic Shelters in the diocese, Womankind and other charitable service groups.

The members of the Saint Vincent de Paul Society at St. Rita Parish have several programs they administer throughout the year.  These include serving a hot meal every other month, manning the Food and Clothing Banks monthly at the Ozanam Center, providing food and financial assistance to those in need locally and semi-annually, collecting clothing to support the Clothing Bank at the Ozanam Center. All are encouraged to join and help our SVDP members in this ministry of helping others in need.

Financial resources of Saint Vincent de Paul Society is provided through the donation envelops included in the monthly packet, and the donation boxes located in the Gathering Areas of the church and St. Mark Chapel.
