Year of Faith
In hiis apostolic Letter, Porta Fidei, Pope Benedict XVI declared a "Year of Faith". In Latin, Porta Fidei is translated "Door of Faith" and Pope Benedict believes us and others may walk through this door of faith if weproclaim and live out the Gospel of Jesus. We do this through the mass, the scriptures, the sacraments, the Creed, our Catechism and in so many other ways because our faith is so rich. The Year of Faith is about all of us growing in a deeper understanding of all that our faith embraces and choosing new ways to live that out so that we may grow into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ!
