Next Meeting: March 8th at 6pm in the SPACE. 
We will be handing out our Pasta Dinner Fundraiser Materials and collecting all Malleys Easter Candy hard copy forms.

Spring Retreat
April 20-22, 2018
Burton, OH
YES, Think SPRING!! and mark this on your calendar NOW.  
Connect with others interested in growing in their faith and sharing it with purpose in their lives. Our Lead Team has worked hard all year long to put on this amazing retreat for our teens. This is a great weekend to get away and take a break from daily life. God is calling you to reconnect and this your opportunity. 
Souper Bowl of Caring MARCH MADNESS
Stations and Game Night March 16th 
Join us for Mass and Stations at 6:30 in the Church. 
Immediately following we will head over to the SPACE for an evening of games and food. Please bring a canned food donations to go to local charities. 
Community Food Collection
One of the goals of our Souper Bowl Team is to not only engage our Parish but also our local community. 
Friday March 23rd 3:30pm-5pm:
Distribute Flyers to ABC Streets by Parish
Meet in Parking Lot by Parish Offices
Sunday March 25th 4pm-6pm:
Collect food from ABC Streets. 
Meet in Parking Lot by Parish Offices


 Confirmation Teens: These would count towards either category for you Confirmation Engagement. 

Family Promise Activities
St. Rita's Annual Family Promise Egg Coloring Event
 sign-up today!

The egg coloring event will be held at the Family Promise Kinsman Center on March 18th from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. We will meet in the St. Rita Paring Lot following 12:15 Mass and Leave promptly to get to the center. We will arrive back to St. Rita no later than 4:45. 
Parents you are welcome to join as well!

ND Vision 
 June 18-June 22, 2018
ND Vision is a leadership conference that takes place every summer at Notre Dame University. Teens will spend a week on campus growing in faith and leadership, all while mentored by Notre Dame University Students. Teens will also get to hear talks from multiple National Catholic Speakers a long with impacting moments of prayer and worship in the amazing facilities of Notre Dame University. Spots are very limted. Please Contact Corey Lesko if interested in attending.

Summer Volunteers
Save these dates and be looking for volunteer applications.
Vacation Bible School: June 11-15
Volunteers needed to help with music, crafts, leaders and more.  If you enjoy working with younger kids, this is for you.
SLAM Camp: June 11-15  
Volunteer counselors are needed for this camp for 5th-6th  graders.  Counselors will be in charge of a group of campers. Most activities are active and take place outdoors.
High School Bible Study and ALPHA YOUTH
Every Sunday Following 10:30 Mass till 1pm
After the success of our Alpha program for adults we are bringing it to our Youth Ministry Program! 
We will be using the Alpha Series as our HS Bible Study Program from March 11-May 20th. (There will be no session April 1st, April 22nd, May 13th due to  Easter, Spring Retreat, and Mothers Day. )
Over these two months we will be tackling what is our faith really all about and how do we build a personal prayer life and relationship with God.  Join us for an afternoon of Fellowship and Faith Sharing.  All HS teens welcome! 
~Sunday March 4th will be a traditional Bible Study~

The following service leadership teams plan, organize and run some of the programs and events for high school teens at St. Rita. Each has it's own emphasis so you can choose what fits your interests:

Respect Life Team 
Help create a culture of life. Choose and lead monthly discussions on a range of topics dealing with the dignity of life  with the option of attending The March to Life trip to Washington DC. 

Spring Retreat Team
Plan and lead the annual retreat. 

YES Team (Youth Engaging Seniors)
Learn about the needs of the elderly and plan and lead projects to assist them (Fall and Spring clean-up, 12 Days of Christmas)

CHWC Team (Catholic Heart Workcamp)
Plan events and fundraisers for the summer service trip

Breakfast LinC Team
Meet to discuss topics of our faith and plan and lead the Sunday breakfast discussions.

Souper Bowl of Caring Team
Educate yourself and others about the issues of poverty and plan and lead a service project to help.
