The Saint Rita Parish School of Religion (PSR) address the needs of students as they grow in their faith. We offer programs that help children to:
- Know the Lord
- Grow in their Catholic Faith
- Participate in the life of the parish community
- Assist parents who are the first educators of their children in the life of the Church
- Assist parents in preparing the children for the reception of Reconciliation, Eucharist, and Confirmation

Registration is now open for the 2021-2022 PSR school year! It is imperative that you register your family as soon as possible so the Pastoral Staff can plan the best religious education for your child. Due to the needs of our parish community, we are offering three options for students in grades K-6. Your cooperation in registering as soon as possible will allow for us to plan accordingly for each session next year. Please Register Here!
Program Options (K-6)
Please note, these options are subject to change based on registration numbers. Notification of any change in program availability will be given by August 1, 2021.
1. Weekly PSR - Weekly Sunday mornings, 9:15am - 10:15am in the Saint Rita Middle School
2021-2022 Meeting Dates:
September 19 & 26, October 3, 10, 17, 24 & 31, November 7, 14 & 21, December 5, 12 & 19, January 9, 23 & 30, February 6, 13 & 27, March 6, 13 & 20, April 3, 10 & 24, May 1
2. Family PSR - One Sunday per month, 8:00am - 10:00am in Mazanec Hall (limited to 20 families; first come, first served)
2021-2022 Meeting Dates:
September 12, October 10, November 14, December 12, January 9, February 13, March 13, April 10, and May 1
3. Walking with Families in Faith Home-based PSR - An enriching home-based faith formation program the whole family will enjoy! Families pick up monthly materials to inspire and guide activities and conversations. This includes access to the Walking with Families in Faith Facebook page.
2021-2022 Materials Pick-up Dates:
Sunday, September 12 @ 11:30am: Mandatory Meeting and Pick up in Mazanec Hall
Bag pick-up is Sundays from 9:30am - 12:30pm in the Family Room: October 10, November 14, December 12, January 9, February 13, March 13, April 10, and May 1
Junior High Faith Formation (Grades 7 & 8)
Weekly PSR - Weekly Sunday evenings, 5:30pm - 6:30pm in Saint Mark Chapel
2021-2022 PSR Meeting Dates:
September 19 & 26, October 3, 17 & 24, November 7, December 5, January 2, 23 & 30*, February 6 & 27, March 6 & 20, April 3 & 24
Confirmation preparation sessions are: September 12 (parents attend), October 10, November 14, December 12, January 9, March 13, and April 10. These sessions are for 8th grade students only.
High School Faith Formation (Grade 9)
Weekly PSR - Weekly Sunday evenings, 7:00pm - 8:00pm in Saint Mark Chapel
2021-2022 PSR Meeting Dates:
September 19 & 26, October 3, 17 & 24, November 7, December 5, January 2, 23 & 30*, February 6 & 27, March 6 & 20, April 3 & 24
*parents attend on January 30
Confirmation preparation sessions are: September 12 (parents attend), October 10, November 14, December 12, January 9, March 13, and April 10. The Confirmation Retreat is Saturday, February 12, 12:00pm - 6:00pm.
2021-2022 PSR cost: $105/child
Saint Rita Parish invites you to share your love of Jesus with our children and teens! Please consider serving as a PSR catechist. Previous teaching experience is NOT required, nor do you need to know every detail of the Church! Will you answer God's call?
